Lost my wallet long time ago on a bitcoin wallet website.
So a few years ago I had gotten a few free bitcoin from a site which gave it if you registered a wallet with them. Obviously before bitcoins were actually worth anything. But I have absolutely no clue at all which site it could be. I remember I had to register an account so I'm assuming they saved the key for me in their database. So does anyone else remember any old bitcoin wallet websites that gave out free bitcoins in the beginning? Perhaps I could one day find this account back and hopefully have some bitcoins! Would be useful to have to invest in making my album :p Any clues guys :O? UPDATE 1: Per suggestion, checking my mail, need to wait for microsoft to verify my old mail account again. Will post an update once there's more info. THE HUNT BEGINS
Sorry if this is in the wrong place or poor ... if so I deserve all the flaming I get so flame away.. either way. Back in the SR1 days there was a site for free online bitcoin wallets. They had a unique address and everything... and they stored the coins for long periods of time... and it was completely free and simple. All you had to do was go to www.______.com and it redirected you to a brand new wallet. You could have dozens of then. There were no accounts or anything like that - if you lost the address, you lost those coins. Period. There was absolutely no recovering them. Anyone remember the name of said site? And if it's still around? And if it's not still around, are there other sites like it that have taken its place? Or have advances in security made this type of storage obsolete? Thanks!
I am looking for a good website for a Bitcoin wallet.
I have never used Bitcoin before and I don't know where to start. I'm thinking about making a paper wallet with my own private key but I am not sure about the best place for this. Is there any other way to organize a Bitcoin wallet? Thanks for any help.
Strange .onion site, it’s a hell of a rabbit hole, and has several QR code’s linked to a bitcoin wallet with over 100 mil USD. Seems to be the main “code” they use on the website. Need help cracking this for possible cash prize?
I want to add my bitcoin address for donation on my website. But with every transaction, my wallet address changes. What's the solution for it?
The wallets claim that previous addresses are reusable but it was not the case with me. Someone sent me transactions on the same address twice. I received the first one but I didn't receive the second one on the same address.
I created a website to help new users traverse the bitcoin landscape. Trusted exchanges, secure wallets, nearest ATMs, most efficient mining equipment, and more. Took a good 6 months but I'm hoping it pays off and helps some people.

I just got an email 2 hours ago that there was a successful login into my account at PaxFul and it wasn't me. I'm 100% confident the password wasn't taken from me or intercepted. I haven't used the website since 2016. Someone must have broken into their database then started cracking the hashed passwords. Mine was an easy one - just 9 digits, which may explain why I might be among the first passwords he cracked. I'm posting this as a heads up to your community. If you have a weak password go change it now. If you don't, I guess you are okay. There is also a chance that this guy stole it from a different website I'm using and tried it across all bitcoin wallets websites. I use the same password when I'm not too worried about people breaking in into that account. So Paxful might be innocent and their database still untouched. But I saw no harm in warning the community. Edit: PaxFul seems to be a very secure website. It's most likely that someone got the password from a different site then he was trying his luck with online wallets. Paxful also responded very professionally to my concerns and they were really kind. I didn't post this to discredit anyone. I was genuinely worried that there might have been a security breach and people might lose their hard-earned bitcoins. Now if I can only figure out which site they stole the password from so I can warn its users. But I used those 9 digits in so many places. :'(
